The Muse

The Muse is a series of 15 oil paintings which take the viewer on a voyage through the artist’s physical and spiritual life experiences. The word Psychol consolidates the unity of thought, life awareness and spirit and is the foundation of the work.

Recurring patterns are dominant throughout this series: The female form – the Muse – symbol of creativity. The stark landscapes, resonating with the colours of the desert: ochres, purple and orange throwing the contrasting lush emerald foliage studded with crimson blossoms into high relief.
